All Hail the Turret

I have a Victorian house. This isn’t it. This one actually burned down in 1914 (major sad face) and was replaced with a Prairie style. Prairie style houses are okay and all, but is there anything better on earth than a turret? The people who lived in Victorian-era Montgomery, Alabama, did not think so. And neither do I.

Siiiigh. This house. So pretty. I want to sit on that porch in a white dress and fan myself with something and drink a mint julep made from mint grown in the back yard.
